Moat Media is a web development business based out of The Abbotsford Convent, a cultural and learning precinct in Melbourne, Australia. MoatMedia primarily focuses on building web solutions using Drupal.
Although focusing mostly on Drupal projects, Moat prides itself on being "framework agnostic", and will always suggest what we believe to be best solution for your specific project. As such, we have successfully launched sites using many Open Source and proprietary frameworks such as Wordpress, Magento, Django, BizarShop, Plone, Zope, as well as building and working with completely custom PHP projects.
We are an unashamedly small business that works together with many talented individuals and businesses to create solutions for you. We regularly work closely with many other graphic designers, programmers, photographers, search engine marketers and social media consultants to help build the right team for your project. As such, we can work from concept to launch on a project, or easily work closely with your own designers or developers to implement specific parts of a project.

of the development process across his career. Passionate about finding talented people to work together to create awesome results for our clients.
Chris Ward
Project Manager, Developer
12 years experience as a Web Developer, developing & managing sites, online strategy and policy for a wide variety of
organisations including The Australian Conservation Foundation and CERES. Passionate about organising complex data & information into easy to access, comprehensible interfaces & structures.
Erica Bramham
Drupal Developer & Usability Expert
4 years experience as a Drupal Developer & Themer. Started her career in the community sector working with a diverse range of
individuals and community groups with varying technical skill levels. Passionate about building websites that provide an intuitive & accessible user experience for both site users and content editors.
Tim Meighen
Web & Theme Developer
8 years experience as a Web Developer, specialising in design- to-template builds for integration with CMS frameworks such as Wordpress and Drupal.
Passionate about seeing projects move from static designs and sketches, to living, breathing websites.
Joi Murugavell
Graphic Design
